Wi-Fi services in the area have not been reliable, and since I have not yet acquired internet service from
home, updating my journal has been slow. We have completed the first six weeks of school: five more to
go. The weather is changing, as it normally does, and temps are beginning to go down. Although we
reached near triple digit temps this week, hopefully the day-after-day drudgery of 106 (F) temperatures are
over. We were visited by tropical storm Lee a couple of weeks ago, and the cabin survived, and I was able
to come and go without difficulty.
