Buddy once lived
wild and woolly in
the woods that
surround Willow
Oak. Then one day I
set a trap.

It is hard to believe, but
Pete was once an
unwanted and unloved
vagabond. Now he is
just a lazy vagabond.

Taz' original owner
delivered him to my front
gate. I opened the gate.

Thumper's
original owner
threw him out. I
took him in.

Sam appeared at my door sick and haggard. I had the
bead set squarely between his eyes. But I just could
not pull the trigger.

Cougar's original owner
intended to shoot him as
a pest. I took him instead
as a pet.

Cathy's original owner felt that
Cathy should be abandoned at
the Tuscumbia Wildlife
Refuge. I felt that Cathy
should be adopted at the
Willow Oak Farm.

Big ol' Oscar takes a break under
one of the Willow Oak Trees. I
found him as a pup wandering
around those woods in the
background.

Unbelievably,
Cleopatra's original
owner decided to drop
her off. In decided to
pick her up.

For some unknown reason Bonnie's original
owner abandoned her beside the road. For
reasons that some find difficult to
understand I just could not leave her there.
